PERSONAL NOTE

One conversation with a mentor led me to getting accepted into an international student program to travel abroad in Italy. One conversation shifted my future and kept me from altering my destiny. I want to be the starter of that conversation for your students. High school is about building real world skills for life; it’s a beautiful time of change and I want to help your students navigate it. When I step foot on your campus, I come to ignite change, share my stories of success, and inspire your students to believe in their capabilities.

With a background in sales, social media marketing, and human resources, and life coaching, Jaleia has exceptional skills your organization could greatly benefit from. In 2022 she was brought on to the GSO legacy team as a recruiting assistant to bring in students for opening positions within the company. Partnering with colleges and universities such as University of North Carolina Greensboro, North Carolina A&T State University, Guilford Technical Community College, and Greensboro College, Jaleia spoke to countless students about the importance of building a professional skill set for the careers ahead of them. Her independent recruiting endeavors resulted in a surge of applications amidst a period of low activity, igniting changes within the company. Her experience with public speaking, as well as leadership and interpersonal skills led her to be listed in the top 10 (and once #1) recruiting assistants in the region.
